Dr Nigel Ineson
MB, BS, FRCGP, FAE, FEWI, DRCOG, DFFP
I am a General Practitioner based in Watford providing medicolegal opinions in matters of Professional Negligence involving General Practitioners.
I have thirty years experience as a Partner in an eight doctor teaching practice in Watford, caring for 12000 patients from modern purpose built premises. I undertook my full share of out of hours responsibility (on a rota with two other practices) for 16 years, and then worked with the local out of hours provider doing shifts at a Primary Care Centre. I stopped doing out of hours care in October 2004 having done so for over twenty years, and stood down as Senior Partner in the Practice in November 2014 although I remain doing sessional work in General Practice.
I will accept instructions in such matters from solicitors, barristers, Coroners, insurance companies and other bodies – but I am not able to accept instructions from individuals or litigants in person.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, a Fellow of the Academy of Experts and a Fellow of the Expert Witness Institute.
